Meet Our Founder

Candace Cain

With over 15 years of very successful teaching, coaching, and consulting experience, Candace is a wealth of knowledge and an expert in her field. She is familiar with academic standards, staff culture, and state testing requirements, and consistently stood out as a top performer in all her previous roles.

Candace is a state-recognized consultant, specializing in growth and development and closing the achievement gap on Title 1 campuses. As a TEA-designated Master Teacher, Candace is ranked in the top 5% of educators in the state of Texas. She has served as a TEA panelist and moderator, curriculum writer, and reviewer for the state of Texas. Her commitment to the field and her unwavering dedication to fostering a love for learning in all students is what brought Empress Education to fruition.  

Candace has drawn on her 15+ classroom experience, 10+ years of professional development experience, 5+ years of school leadership experience, 5+ years of instructional coaching experience, to build a team of consultants with the knowledge and capabilities to ensure that your network meets all their goals.
